What Makes You Feel Good?
Written by Susan Denham
Tuesday, 19 February 2008
I've often thought that people who wanted help would naturally be inclined, once they saw the effectiveness of EFT, to want MORE and more positive results.

This article  found in the archives of EFT's official website, reminds us of the powerful possibilities that we have with EFt.

I'm one of those that gets depressed, upset, down in the dumps, lonely, yada yada at the drop of a hat, I've often wondered why. (Doctors say I don't make enough Seratonin)  Ok, that's all great and wonderful,  but the truth is, it doesn't really matter why I am this way.

What matters is "What am I going to do to change it?"

This question is one I have asked myself many many times in the past.  The answer has always been "I don't know"  Well,  that one just got smeared.  Now I know exactly what to do, and as I visualize myself accomplishing some of the things I've always wanted to do,  now I have a tool to assist me in anchoring those visualizations and happy thoughts, and that helps me to not get so down about stuff.

I've noticed since I began doing this, that my moods are more stable, I am actually achieving some of the things I've been visualizing, and (This is a biggie) I don't have any problems visualizing even better things once I've achieved the thing I originally wanted.  That's great, because I can visualize myself doing something great and fulfilling, and I ask myself "What would be even better than that?" and BAM!  There I am, seeing myself doing something even greater and more fulfilling, which brings about the results even quicker.

New Drug-Free Treatment for Disease Often Works Where Nothing Else Will: From Yeast Infections to Ca
Written by Susan Denham
Tuesday, 19 February 2008
San Francisco (PRWEB) -- Gary Craig, the Stanford-trained engineer who developed EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), announces that the procedure has helped patients recover from chronic yeast infections without drugs or adverse side effects, as reported by medical doctors and their patients.

The claim is impressive, considering that 35 percent of American women using birth control pills have chronic vaginal yeast infections, and in men, jock itch and athlete's foot are common. All three conditions are linked to Candida albicans, a naturally occurring yeast that creates problems when it grows out of control. In children, especially those who have been on antibiotics, Candida can cause thrush, a throat infection. Even the family dog's chronic ear infections are linked to Candida.

Conventional medicine treats yeast and fungal infections with symptom-suppressing drugs, but these drugs can have side effects, and the condition often recurs.

Raul Vergini, MD, appreciates how difficult it is to eliminate candidiasis. When one of his patients couldn't get rid of the condition he applied EFT. Modeled after acupuncture, EFT uses gentle fingertip tapping to release blocked energy along with stored emotions that contribute to health problems. Dr. Vergini tapped with the patient as they focused on her symptoms.

Two days later, her persistent itching, burning, discharge, and inflamed irritation had disappeared. A follow-up exam showed her to be clinically free from Candida. "She was also able to easily control, with EFT, the burning stomach pain she experienced every evening after dinner, especially when lying down," Dr. Vergini says.

Los Angeles urologist Eric Robins, MD, blames unresolved emotional issues for 85 percent of all illnesses, especially chronic conditions that don't respond to conventional therapy. "Some day," he says, "modern medicine will realize this, and EFT will become a primary healing tool for physicians everywhere. It already is for me."

Over 225,000 worldwide, including many health care practitioners, have downloaded Craig's free EFT training manual from the official EFT website, which features reports and case studies on hundreds of illnesses, including cancer. The manual provides all the basics so that anyone can begin using it immediately. The manual can be downloaded at no cost from:

Weight Loss Technique Eliminates Emotional Overeating: Halts Need for Comfort Foods
Written by Susan Denham
Tuesday, 19 February 2008

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) — Most diet and exercise plans require will power - and that’s why they fail. But a simple “emotional acupressure” technique eliminates the need for will power along with the underlying causes of emotional overeating.

“The real drivers in weight loss cases are emotional issues such as self-worth and anxiety,” explains Gary Craig, the Stanford-trained engineer who developed EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). “Until these emotions are properly resolved, will power will take a back seat and the need for ‘comfort foods’ will win out every time.”

New York City therapist Carol Look, LCSW, DCH, agrees. “When you use sugar or overeating as a way to numb your feelings,” says Dr. Look, “no diet in the world can help you. Even the latest surgery does nothing to correct underlying emotional imbalances that trigger overeating. EFT doesn’t focus on calorie restriction. Instead, it targets emotions that lead to immediate cravings, hunger pangs, and poor eating habits, such as emotions triggered by daily stress, issues from the past, a family history of obesity, limiting beliefs about ones ability to lose weight, fear of the future, and other factors that trigger binges.”

EFT addresses these issues by combining focused thought with gentle fingertip tapping on key acupressure points. Dr. Look and other EFT practitioners worldwide report a 50- to 80-percent success rate for most who try it for weight loss, and the results, especially for specific cravings, are often immediate.

“Clients soon notice that they begin to ‘forget” about eating binges,” she says, “and they become engaged in activities other than secretive eating or food shopping. Their weight comes off as the underlying issues are addressed and the basics of symptomatic behavior are tapped away.”
As word about EFT spreads, a growing number of medical doctors and other health care practitioners are teaching it to patients.

“Some day the medical profession will wake up and realize that unresolved emotional issues are the main cause of not only compulsive overeating but all illnesses,” says Eric Robins, MD, a Los Angeles urologist. “When that happens, EFT will be one of medicine’s primary healing tools. It already is for me.”

More than 500,000 worldwide have downloaded Gary Craig’s free training manual from the official EFT website, which features dozens of weight-loss case reports. Some have lost over 100 pounds or overcome conditions like bulimia using the technique.

“America is in the throes of an obesity epidemic,” says Craig. “Public health officials are concerned because people of all ages, including children, are at risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other health problems. These are preventable tragedies. EFT is a new technique, but it already has an impressive track record in helping people lose weight, get in shape, stay active, and improve their overall health.”

As a bonus, he says, EFT is so easy to learn that even the very young can use it.

The free EFT manual gives all the basics and has been translated by volunteer practitioners into seventeen languages. It can be downloaded for free at http://www.emofree.com/downloadeftmanual.asp
